Scented CandlesPosted by Candles By Janine Sun, March 25, 2018 20:12:15
All of my candles and melts come with clear CLP (classification, label packaging) I see so many sellers selling melts and candles without this. They are in fact breaking the law. If you were to become ill from a chemical in a candle, you are well within your rights to sue that person for not clearly stating what is in their product. It has taken months for me to master this correctly. The dos and don'ts are mind blowing! I finally feel happy now knowing I am selling my products safely.

See our page where we explain the difference in scented home candles in both paraffin wax and soy wax. We make both scented home candles in soy wax and paraffin wax here at candles by janine, both are highly scented candles, home candles in our luxury scented candles range. See our website 😁

Hi Kim,
Soy wax is 100% natural and comes from the soybean, whereas paraffin wax comes from petroleum oil. Soy is softer and lasts longer during a burn therefore your candles last longer. It's better for the environment too. Soy is better used in container candles as previously mentioned as its a softer wax. Paraffin is quite a hard wax so good for pillar candles as it can hold it's own. You wont get black soot on your jars either with Soy wax. Paraffin wax does hold fragrance better, so you will get a stronger scent with paraffin wax. Pros and cons for both really. This is why the likes of Yankee use paraffin wax because it makes their candles smell stronger, but you also get the black soot left behind on your jars which isn't great for you or the environment. Soy candles will burn completely down. Paraffin candles will always leave some at the bottom.
